Floors & Appliances

The last couple of weeks, the main project at the house was floors. We have awesome looking tile in the kitchen and bathroom, bamboo in the living room, our bedroom is stained, and the back entryway has roofing slate that Chris bought off some guy on Craigslist. It looks really cool, I'll get some pictures of it soon.

Last weekend my Dad brought over some loam and leveled out our backyard. Now we need some grass seed.
And a couple of days ago Chris and his Dad brought our appliances in. It feels awesome to know that we're actually going to have a real house soon.

Auntie Malley

My sister Malley came to visit for a week just before Easter. It was the first time Audrey got to meet her aunt.

Needless to say, she wasn't in need of any love or attention that week.

We did fun things like give Audrey a bath - she used the opportunity to pee all over Malley.

We also blew eggs and painted them pretty colors for Easter.

During Auntie Malley's visit, Audrey also got to meet her Great-Grandma Fox.

It's so neat having 4 generations on both sides of the family.

We were so sad to see Malley go - we got used to hanging around and eating good food all week. Can't wait for her next visit!
