Thankful

As soon as the deed for the house was signed, the demolition began. We have gotten so much done on the house already. Thanks to a few boys from church who helped Chris rip out the ceilings and all of the family that have come by (even on Thanksgiving) to lend us a hand, we filled an entire dumpster in only 4 days.

The yard that used to look like this...

(this doesn't even show the worst of it; there were loads of trash and rotting wood along with years worth of leaves and tall grass)

...now looks a little cleaner.

And the kitchen that used to look like this...

...now looks a little dirtier.

  1. I see you ripped out everything except the kitchen sink (literally and figuratively).

  3. Oh, how exciting! You bought a fixer-upper. As Christ knows, we love that kinda stuff. Enjoy the projects and fun as you make the home into your own little piece of heaven.

Wishing you lots of happiness and joy!

    Aloha,
    Tauna
